Privacy policy
The short version: we collect as little as possible, and we don't sell it.
Who we are
People's Britain publishes at peoplesbritain.co.uk. For anything in this policy, contact contact@peoplesbritain.co.uk.
What we collect
- Reading the site: nothing personal. Pages are served as static files. Our hosting provider processes IP addresses transiently to deliver pages and prevent abuse, as any web host does.
- Email: if you email us, we keep the correspondence for as long as it's needed to deal with the matter.
Advertising
We may show advertising served by Google AdSense. Where we do, and where required by UK law, you will be asked for consent before any advertising cookies are set, and you can decline. Google's use of advertising data is described in Google's advertising policy. Without consent, any ads shown are non-personalised.
What we don't do
- We don't sell or share your personal data.
- We don't run tracking or analytics that identifies you.
- We don't require an account or registration to read anything.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it — email contact@peoplesbritain.co.uk. If you're unhappy with our answer, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
