Who we are
People's Britain publishes at peoplesbritain.co.uk. For anything in this policy, use our contact form.
What we collect
- Reading the site: nothing personal. Pages are served as static files. Our hosting provider processes IP addresses transiently to deliver pages and prevent abuse, as any web host does.
- Contact form: if you contact us, we collect your email address, your message, and any optional name or link you provide. The form passes these details through our private publishing system to our inbox. We keep the correspondence only for as long as it's needed to deal with the matter or meet a legal obligation.
Advertising
We may show advertising served by Google AdSense. Where we do, and where required by UK law, you will be asked for consent before any advertising cookies are set, and you can decline. Google's use of advertising data is described in Google's advertising policy. Without consent, any ads shown are non-personalised.
What we don't do
- We don't sell or share your personal data.
- We don't run tracking or analytics that identifies you.
- We don't require an account or registration to read anything.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it: use our contact form and choose Data rights request. If you're unhappy with our answer, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
